EFFECT OF ORGANIC AND INORGANIC FERTILIZERS OR THEIR COMBINATIONS ON YIELD AND QUALITY COMPONENTS OF OIL SEED SUNFLOWER IN A SEMI-ARID ENVIRONMENT

Producers in semi-arid and highland regions have difficulty increasing diversity crop rotations due to unfavorable conditions imposed by cool temperatures, inadequate rainfall, shorter growing periods. In such conditions, some cultural practices that increase productivity as fertilization appear a promising alternative. Fertilization the form of fertilizer substantial influence on sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) seed yield quality. The objective this study was determine responses oilseed organic (vermicompost leonardite) inorganic (nitrogen phosphorus) fertilizers, or their combinations environment. To end, field research carried out 2017 2018 Erzurum, Eastern Anatolia, Turkey. study, it found fertilizers alone significantly affected all plant parameters. highest (4854 kg ha-1) oil (2114 were obtained from combined use nitrogen vermicompost. Moreover, vermicompost yielded content (46.8%). According results applications (vermicompost) (nitrogen) had agronomic characteristics production; so, these can be recommended for similar ecological is, short season high altitude.
